for the preliminary interview:
1 p( S) E6 {# |* U$ x$ a- u- |" L4 }1 k1 X
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......9 U; Q! m! V( \" Z. u7 s* W3 S
6 j2 V. v! k+ B6 K6 e" D( e0 @
for the extended interview:

3 @0 M0 D6 Z6 f7 z8 b, k0 y" s8 rit's divided into 2 sections,
$ o: O, x# V  W3 z# O* \+ e1 is impromptu talk* |1 }) {3 v) T2 u
another is group discusion+ q/ J3 ?8 w1 t+ c  l7 X! }7 u0 |
* v1 w9 f9 v' ^# R" A: x9 K
all conducted in english
  F( o6 ?2 g8 A6 Y* b6 O# ^- z0 U
6 V; o8 O" l& ?1 l( fimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion- H2 }4 `- N5 C" x) x- W

for final interview:

8 U* X5 e# I6 d" z/ R4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes3 G+ Z- [( g  u0 q3 m) b

; i% m% O  }. u( hthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
