for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:
) `( _6 y9 l$ @1 s! x3 }6 ?7 C r/ K8 C% L% k2 p" D. N4 q
it's divided into 2 sections,
" L, Y; z$ `& Y% Q1 is impromptu talk3 B# Q$ z [3 v: ~# u
another is group discusion
! K3 L" K9 f" m K" r9 Q
; L4 u A% N$ f# Hall conducted in english( P) w% v, E: u1 I3 N6 s! k! W, w
( y% V. V" d+ X$ u Y( W" n, mimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

0 {) Q3 w# p7 b/ r+ A" z% stopic like "environment, biscuit...."9 G8 @' Y8 M! }/ h- G
' }- [, ]( S) E* V2 Dgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion0 s+ o) X4 A f# E+ z, X' ?) v( I# K

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
