for the preliminary interview:

. C3 ?6 G4 E% Gthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......: u% D- E0 p4 D: I8 L

for the extended interview:  r& y8 v( W/ z$ A9 w; A/ @

# P: ]9 c$ b2 n& Sit's divided into 2 sections,
# B0 N( n2 o4 C& g1 is impromptu talk9 R' M& l" C5 t  V, X
another is group discusion
# H  j% k- R. J+ s* O* B! L9 ?8 ^
2 N5 l& \* g) l, V. p4 q7 Pall conducted in english: w5 S$ x) f# A" o& o
' w3 N; j; ~% n) S  y
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare! G8 H3 }4 b1 U. d/ x5 c

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!  `7 l7 t0 @% K. W: G  U; Z  I+ @
