睇完1993年Eastern Conference Final的Bulls vs Knicks後,我發覺John Starks的得分能力,防守都應該可以算係好接近Jordan的!佢應該係第一個話自己可以1 on 1守住Michael Jordan的球員,記得John Starks的中距離急停跳射同快速切入都令Bulls非常頭痛,當時呢個人癲起上來真係無人可以守到佢,記得以前佢有一球切過Jordan,係Horace Grant面前飛身入樽,真係令人覺得佢係全NBA唯一有能力同Jordan鬥搶分的人!可惜的係當時的Knicks係Ewing的球隊,媒體未有將鎂光燈射係呢個John Starks身上,所以無人講佢係Jordan接班人!其實John Starks全盛時期真係可以話係Penny(中距離急停跳射)+Hill(快速切入)的混合體.
John Starks的打法全面而且防守有好,當時同Ewing一隊的Knicks終於係Jordan第一次退休後打入NBA總決賽,對住當時的Houston Rocket,當時的John Starks都係好勁,頭5場都發揮出驚人的外線破壞力,可惜係Game 7令佢當下左污點,3分球射11球都唔中!令Knicks輸左第7場的NBA Final Game!
係1999年,Knicks因為嫌John Starks的打法太獨食,加上同其他球員的不和,終於俾Knicks換左過去Golden State Warriors,用佢來換Laterall Sprewell,個年Knicks上演左"老八傳奇"!後來John Starks俾人換左去Utah Jazz後就無灑佢的消息Lu,只記得佢係Jazz個陣同Shawn Marion搶籃板,搞到Marion仆落地下,仲無左個場比賽的記憶Tim!

我都好中意呢個年代，好多隊都有力爭冠軍（houston, san antonio, NY, Utah, Phoenix等），競爭好大，就算冇力爭標的，也有球星坐陣，Miller, Richamond, Rice, Sprewell等．當時Jordon除左要面對呢班對手，仲有好多後起之秀挑戰佢(Penny, Grant Hill, 3J等)，所以先顯得Jordon偉大！作者: harvey22 時間: 2006-6-3 04:41 PM

90-97(the season b4 knock out) i think the best NBA period, i am not a bulls fan nor jordan fan, i root for spurs back then, but still every game was sooo good back then
