connect your router to your modem (from your ISP) with cables(CAT5)

then login to your router through IE with specific static address like 192.168.1.1 (your user manual will tell you what the address is)

then type in your ISP information in your router
ex. if your ISP requires a user name and password to dial to their servers, you have to specify it in your router

that's basically it....
