i believe that can be easily explained by newton first law.
When no net force act on a object, the object will travel with constant velocity.

Since the water on the earth will be attracted by gravitational force, it will fell on the ground.* @0 [( J1 T& m: N/ T/ S

But in the space, no force is added on the water will u X the ball ,so the water will remain its old velocity(don't move)
