Real Madrid wing ace Luis Figo is ready to accept a move to Manchester United at the end of the season.
AS says Figo has told close friends he wants to play in the Premiership next season and is keen to work under his former Real Madrid and Portugal youth coach, Carlos Queiroz, at Manchester United.
Figo knows Real won't extend his current contract, which expires in 2006 and is due to meet president Florentino Perez to thrash out a compensation deal for the final year of his term.
The former Portugal international also wants a free transfer and has a preliminary offer from United for three years waiting for him to sign.
