Money spending days: B-days, Christmas, weddings, birthdays of friend's children. 4 I9 [' ^ @9 ?- Q% _1 o3 S( t" O& k$ U# `1 E) f, J, }2 }
Money saving advice: I don't shop under pressure. I would stock up things as gifts during the year. My wife and I would look for bargains during the sale period and stock up. For example, I once got quite a few Jazz CDs from HMV for people's b-day and Xmas gifts. That saves the hassle and pressure to look for the perfect gift when we have an hour to do so. Of course we also stock wrapping paper and cards at home for 'emergency use'. ' | Q O |6 T2 n- H" R! S* \( x8 z" k" q
For weddings, we would either buy gift certicicates (for not too close friends) or make our gift. I get the wedding couple's name in English and made a poem out of the acronyms of their names. All I need to do is get some good fonts/graphics, print it out and frame it. Perfect gift.# @4 J0 d+ O; c& v/ u3 R; q3 p: ?0 w
