I still don't quite understand.  So are you saying that the Suns will be in better shape next round if they had lost Game 4 today (so that they could get some rest) and then win Game 5?  However, in this case, they will have less time to rest between Game 5 and Game 1 of second round.  

Besides, the playoff schedule is not as brutal as regular season.  Teams usually have at least one day between games, unlike in regular season they will have back-to-back games.  Granted, they all have played a long regular season.  Yet, being professional atheltes, they should be able to handle it.  Besides, that's what it takes to win a championship.

I actually have a different concern on the Suns - their momentum.  If Dallas and Houston need to play 7 games, then the Suns will be idle for a week.  This has affected some playoff teams previously and they needed one or two games to pick up their play.  Hopefully, this won't be the case for the Suns.

The funny thing is they lost all of they home games but won all the road games to Dallas and Houston.  No idea why ...
