They've played so many games without Yao Ming and still have a respectable record. It obviously doesn't really have anything to do with the absence of a big center. Honestly, the Bobcats don't have much of an inside game. If the Rockets can deal with the Lakers having Gasol, Bynum and Odom on the inside, their inside isn't a problem. Stephen Jackson just caught on fire. Literally.

You can't expect the young guys to show up every game. Taking the Lakers as an example again, their bench, once known for depth and thus nicknamed "Bench Mob", managed to pour 66 points on Dallas, but can also do as bad as 10 points against Portland.
