Wie is going to turn pro this year! Her shot is so wicked...people compare hers with Tiger's.

BTW, anyone golf here? (I mean golf, not the micky mouse driving range thing.)

But if you look at Annika S. She's got the shot a lot of guys don't have. And Michelle Wie probably can beat a lot of boys in her age group. That's why she turned pro yesterday.

Golf, in a sense, is not a game of power, it requires the player to adopt to situations quickly at the course.

I always tell people in golf you are not playing against the opponent (like most sports), the course itself is your biggest and only opponent. If you can overcome the course, you win. If you can't, others will.

I don't worry about Wie's longivity as a pro. The shots that she's got take a huge toll on her back and she may have to retire before the age of 30.
