What Toffeeman needs is a goalkeeper...their defense is okay for now. This is the break out year for Yobo on defense. Remember 加維臣  left in Jan and the Toffees has to play 5 months w/out him. Li Tie should be back this year as defense midfield. Going for Baros is a good move since they lost the bid on Davies. Bent and Beattie are the ones to make some noise but they do need another forward (if the price is right). I am not sure if Martyn and Wright are the goalkeeper for the future.

As a Toffee fan for almost 20 years, I have to say I don't want them to go too far in CL. I kinda hope they would lose at group stage. They have a big draw and making it (to group stage) requires a miracle. But I think fans will understand. I hope they can focus more on the domestic matches. If they play the way they do last year (particuarly 2nd half), I think they can challenge for a league cup title and 4th/5th place in league.

The key person for  Everton this year is Cahill. He needs to be healthy for Toffees's succeed.
