Phil Neville has no regrets about making the switch from Manchester United to Everton, insisting it is "the best move ever".

The versatile England international has seen United field some unfamiliar and weakened midfield line-ups of late, with John O'Shea and Ryan Giggs starting in the engine room during Sunday's win over Liverpool.

However, Neville is refusing to wonder what might
have been as he is thoroughly enjoying life at Goodison Park.

Speaking from Old Trafford to Sky Sports, he said: "It's been the best move ever.

"I think I've not looked back yet. It's the first time I've had a chance to come back to Old Trafford.

"I don't regret the move one little bit. I'm playing with a great manager and a great set of lads. Playing every week is what a professional footballer wants to do.

"That's what I'm doing at the moment and thoroughly enjoying it.

"I didn't move particularly to enhance my England chances, I just wanted regular first team football. I've joined a club that's got the same work ethic as I have got.

"They're all down to earth lads and hopefully I'll be playing every week and can impress the England manager."

Neville is convinced Everton can finish in the top half after four Premiership wins in succession, the latest being Saturday's 1-0 win against Arsenal.

"Hopefully, we're on our way up now," he added. "It was our best performance of the season, beating a very good Arsenal side.

"We're on a bit of a good run now and we've got Chelsea in the FA Cup next week. We can approach that game now and give it a right go.

"I think we've looked at performances of other teams that have had success against Arsenal and that's been the reason why they've beaten them.

"We played a lot of balls forward early on and we've got James Beattie up front, who will run through a brick wall for you. They didn't enjoy it and he was the catalyst for victory.

"Hopefully, we're looking at the top half now. When you're down in 16th or 17th, you can always get sucked into it. We've seen, over the years, teams who think they're too good to go down get sucked in there and end up being relegated.

"We needed a run of games where we've won and we've got the points in the table now.

"Hopefully, we can look up, not down.

"For me, the change was when we scored in the last minute against Sunderland. We didn't play well, Sunderland probably deserved to win the game. We had a slice of luck and it gave us the catalyst to go on a run.

"The players are coming back into form and we're starting to score goals, which we didn't do at the start of the season."

加利尼維爾︰我不是機械人
曼聯隊長加利尼維爾表示他難以相信被人批評他在週日的慶祝方式是針對利物浦球迷。

曼聯在最後補時才入球以一比零擊敗利物浦，加利尼維爾承認他有數秒時間瘋狂了起來。

當李奧費迪南接應傑斯的罰球傳中頂入後，該名曼聯隊長即回身跑了六十多碼，跑到作客球迷的一方激動地拿起球衣上的會徽在空中怒哮。而此舉則受到利物浦球迷的強烈批評，而足總並有可能因此而起訴他。

但該名三十歲的後防則表示，他此舉沒有不尊重對手球迷，並表示恐怕禁止太多慶祝的方式，會使足球變得像機械人的比賽。

Valencia defender Fabio Aurelio is eager to put speculation about his future to bed one way or another.

The Brazilian stopper is out of contract in the summer but has thus far refused to concur on fresh terms with his Spanish paymasters.

It seems likely that he could quit the Mestalla in the close season, with several big clubs across Europe monitoring the situation.

It is believed that Aurelio is hankering after a five-year deal in the region of €1.2 million per year but Valencia are not keen to concur on such terms.

Internazionale, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United have all been linked with the classy defender, who is desperate to resolve his future as soon as possible.

''I desire for a final solution to be expressed,'' said Aurelio.

''It is my future and it is not easy for me not to have it sorted.''

Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an eye problem.
He had been suffering from double vision in his right eye since just after Christmas, but the club said the problem was not football related.

"A number of specialists have all agreed that he needs three months' rest," said a club statement.

"It is a disappointment for Paul and the club. We look forward to having him back for pre-season training."

Scholes, 30, signed a new four-year contract last summer but has not played since the draw at Birmingham on 28 December.

The last of his three goals this season came in the 3-0 win over West Brom two days before that.
