Suns up 3-0 now ... and look at their next opp ..... houston / dallas .. they still 2-1 ( houston )  and this series might go all the way to game 7 ..... they will have lots of time to rest

Suns win today, and when u look at Dallas / Houston ... the faster they can decide is on Thursday, which will make round 2 start at Sat / Sun, so they have like almost a week to rest, why they want to lose a game and play game 5 ??  

if u talking about next round when they r more even team, Suns should try to win it as fast as they can, so they have another period of time to rest ( most likely the other match, usually team that *try to lose* a game is not because of player need rest, usually because they want to go back home and win it there

i still think team that try to win as fast as they can will have more rest time than team who *try* to lose a game in between ... but that just me

I actually have a different concern on the Suns - their momentum.  If Dallas and Houston need to play 7 games, then the Suns will be idle for a week.  This has affected some playoff teams previously and they needed one or two games to pick up their play.  Hopefully, this won't be the case for the Suns.

Lakers swept every series in West, and they lost Game 1 to 76ers, and 76ers have to play all decision game if i remember right
