Absolutely right, you can see Ruud.. play really hard up front now, as Giggs is slower now, and C. Ronaldo couldn't cross so many great ball as Becks before. you could see the frurstartion for Ruud on the field (of cos, Ruud gets a lot of injures this year)

By the way, in England, I think he should be the captain, he get a greatest willingness (that's called leadship!) on the team and on the match, so I have no doubt to let him to be captain.

For penalty, I won't choose him to shoot the first one, or the last one nowadays, cos even though he can handle pressure on the field, it may be not healthy if he accidently lost another penalty (in Penalty shootout, which could include a lot of factors, skills, pressure, field, etc) please don't blame someone who miss the penalty, Plantini, who was the European players of the year in 86, missed the penalty shoot in WC86.

AT last, I think Sir Alex has some problems to manage his team. I notice this for ages...
Of cos, he is one of the top class managers in the world, but when many players were leaving  Man Utd, they got really bad relationships with Sir Alex, arguing him in PUBLIC a lot! I am talking about in PUBLIC.
for example, you won't argue to someone to anyone unless you get a terrible relationships with him/her....

here are the lists that they have/had arguments in public (with Sir Alex)
Stam, Becks, M. Hughes, Sharpe, Veron, Ince, etc....
