How about at the hospital?; X; J- e% p& U0 }
9 h5 Y/ n2 K' d3 YI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.
+ R8 Q, s% T* G; z8 x/ V# [1 r$ b$ N0 J5 d! {3 B
1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

5 @# j1 U4 T' _, v5 o* @8 y% v% LWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
